Dear SF Tree advocates,
Board of Appeals hearing, Weds July 15, 2020 5pm (Agenda available here around July 10)
This will be the culmination of a long and arduous process that began in early 2019. The 24th Street community loves their trees and does not want them removed.

The 24th Street community paid for their own professional tree assessment. A summary and comparison of the assessments by DPW Bureau of Urban Forestry (BUF) and Bay Area Arborist Collective (BAAC), the assessment paid for by the 24th Street community, can be viewed here.
BUF recommends removing 47 ficus trees,
BAAC recommends removing only 36 ficus trees.
